Crystal Ortiz – Interior Decorator & ReDesign Professional
I started rearranging my bedroom furniture when I was 8 years old. We moved often when I was a kid, so it was always a new adventure to decide how my current stuff was going to fit into my new room. That started a lifetime of being house-obsessed. When other girls were reading “Sweet Valley High”, “Seventeen” and “Cosmo”, I was looking at House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, and house plan books. #HouseNerd.
I took courses through QC Design School and earned my certificates for IDDP (Interior Decorating & Design Professional) and ISRP (Interior Staging and Redesign Professional) in 2014. That gave me more technical training, but I feel that I truly have God-given Talent. Since then, I’ve been steadily building a business in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area and consistently helping homeowners achieve their dreams for their own homes.
I’m very proud that I continue to enhance my education through courses several times each year as well as hiring a design business coach who helps me refine my processes and manage the business end of things. With every project I complete, there are new experiences I learn from and carry in to the next client. I recently returned from High Point Market and have access to amazing furnishings, art, and accessories through my trade-only contacts. This allows my clients to select from some of the best home decor items to be found, with no worries as to whether a specific company has a store here in Harrisonburg.
Once you’re finished checking out my website, give me a call. After we chat a bit about what you’d like to achieve, we can schedule your Consultation and start discussing your project(s). Whether you just need some DIY Direction or full-service Design help, together we’ll map out a plan that will move your project forward at the level you’re most comfortable with.
I’m here when you’re ready to get going. Call Crystal at (540) 271-2686 and let’s discuss your dreams, your wish list, and what you need the most help with to create the space that will make your home in to your happiest place.
