eDesign Services by Bluestone Decorating
If you live outside the Harrisonburg / Rockingham County area but would still like Crystal Ortiz of Bluestone Decorating to help you pull your home together, eDesign may be the solution that meets the geographical challenges. It’s also a great solution if you’re looking for a professional interior decorator to help you with your room, but need to keep the costs down or work on your project over time.
An eDesign package will give you everything you need to create a stunning result in your own time. The concept will include furniture, fabrics, paint samples, shopping lists or links, and instructions. Within 30 days of purchase and completion of your Style Survey & measurements, you’ll receive everything via email that allows you to shop on your own time and pull the entire look together. With software renderings provided, you’ll know exactly how the room will look using the pieces I’ve specified. Yes, you’ll get your own walk-through video, a Prioritized list of what-to-do-first, floor plans to follow, and the inside scoop on where to buy everything. If you prefer not to shop on your own, you can have Bluestone Decorating place orders on your behalf and everything is shipped to you.
Local or Long-Distance eDesign
If you are a LOCAL client who just wants the final look but not the long-term commitment, Bluestone Decorating can do all of the measuring for you during a Consultation (separate fee).
For those who aren’t in the Bluestone Decorating service area, you will need to provide detailed measurements and photographs. No worries – the instructions will go over exactly how to do it all.
Either way, within a month you’ll be able to start the process of creating a Designer Room. This is basically Steps 1 through 5 of my Signature Design Process.
eDesign is a way to manage your expenses while hiring a Designer. Unless you are asking for an in-home Consultation, everything is done via email and phone.
The fee for this service is $997 and includes up to one revision of the space at no additional cost. Because of the nature of this product, there are no refunds and a signed eDesign contract is required. Additional design time may be purchased for $80 per hour. Payments can be made via Paypal, bank transfer, or personal check.

How do we get started?
First, call Crystal at (540) 271-2686 or use the Contact Form on the website to let me know you’re interested. We can discuss your project and your goals and how to proceed with this process. Once we’ve decided to move forward, you’ll receive everything you need via email. You’ll do your “homework”, fill out forms for me, and I will get started getting it pulled together for you. In about 30 days you’ll get your design back and can move forward. Once you’ve finished overhauling your space, I would LOVE to share photos of your space with my readers and followers, so feel free to share them.
